My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whiskey is a 2-year-old female possible Schnauzer/Bearded Collie mix who has already been spayed. Her breed is a bit of a mystery to us. She was brought in as a stray after she just wandered up in someone's yard and never left! Whiskey's coat is black with white around her muzzle and chin.  Whiskey weighs 52 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. When she first came to PAHS she was a bit 'growly' until she learned to trust our staff. Whiskey would be good with older children. If you have another dog; we would suggest a meet and greet with your dog.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
