Why You'll Love Avery:
Potty trained and has excellent leash manners - she's the perfect walking partner
Crate-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night
Great with other dogs - loves to romp, wrestle, and make new furry friends
Great with cats and free range chickens - Avery lives peacefully with all her furry friends
Rides like a pro in the car - windows down or snoozing in the back seat, she's ready to roll!
Medium energy and drive - ideal for an active family or individual looking for a steady, reliable companion
Loves to swim! Seriously, Avery is part fish - she'll never say no to a splash in the water

More about this rescue
We hope to ease the problem of population overflow occurring in many of our shelters today. WGSR educates the individual on the importance of sterilizing the pet and providing superior care.
WGSR is composed of a network of foster families and volunteers. We are always in need of more foster care providers with the time and commitment necessary to care for these animals in transition. We are also in need of volunteers who can shuttle dogs from shelters and other sites to our foster homes.
