Say hi to Amped (My foster parents call me Ranger)!
Loyal, sweet, and energetic pup. When we first picked him up, he walked right up to us with his tail wagging ready to go home. He went straight into the back seat of the car and took a quiet nap on his hour drive to his foster home.
He warmed up to our family very quickly and use to check in on us when we went into separate rooms to make sure everything is okay. Now with familiarity he found comfort on our living room couch and follows us less and less when we go into different rooms. He loves to be burrowed underneath the blankets and gravitates to the warmth. He absolutely loves laying on our heated blanket. He's a pro at being in his crate when we are not home and he knows to go "inside" (his crate) when it's bedtime. He instantely lays down and gives no fuss and quietly sleeps.
He knows his routine of going outside on his walks and is the best pup at using the bathroom outside. We are teaching him to walk slowly and steady on his walks as he can get excited and pull. He likes to do his business quickly outside and come right back in (honestly we aren't a fan of the cold either Ranger). He is a true cuddle bug and 9 out of 10 times you'll find him curled up right next to you (sometimes even on you ). He has the cutest snore while he sleeps. Although he loves to sleep he is equally very playful. He loves to play tug of war and will bring his rope to you inviting you to play, but he is also great at playing on his own. He also can get the zoomies after being in his crate all day while we are at work and after his walks. It is so funny to watch him and we look forward to his silliness everyday.
He is very food motivated which makes him easy to train. With lots of love and patience, I guarantee that Amped (aka Ranger) will be the best companion.
