My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a lovable, big boned beauty with a heart full of sunshine and just the right amount of playful goofiness. She`s got great leash manners, and doesn`t pull at all! She`s always excited to explore the world by your side. Loose in the yard, Daisy lets her fun side shine. She`s a professional zoomer - especially if there’s a squeaky toy involved! She`s full of sweet, enthusiastic charm.

Daisy is a smart girl who`s already great at her basic commands! She takes treats gently and already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake on command. With her medium energy level, she’s the perfect mix of playful with relaxed. She`s happy to romp around, but just as happy to soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.

If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate companion who loves people more than anything, Daisy can’t wait to meet you.

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.

We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
