My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Razzmatazz is a medium energy boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart (and ears!). He already knows how to sit on command and is very treat motivated, taking snacks gently from your hand every time. Asking him to sit for a treat is a great way to help him refocus - he’s smart and eager to please. He knows exactly what a leash means - he’ll happily trot from across the play yard when he sees you grab it, ready to go on his next adventure.

While he’s playful and enjoys engaging with you, toys don’t seem to be his thing. He’s much more interested in people. Razzmatazz truly just wants attention. He loves being pet and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. If you sit down, don’t be surprised if he tries to climb into your lap to be even closer - and yes, kisses are usually included. Even when you’re not paying attention to him, Razzmatazz wants to be near you. He’s a people focused boy who thrives on connection. Ready to add a little Razzmatazz to your life?

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.

We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
