If dogs could talk, Finn would have stories to tell—he’s ready to point you toward adventure with that sniffer of his. This male adult terrier mix is a good size pup with a beautiful white coat accented with black and brown patches. But what really makes Finn stand out is that curly tail! Finn is a bundle of fun for sure and does great with other dogs including those who want to play and those who are more independent. Finn follows his nose everywhere—whether it's tracking a scent in the backyard or sniffing out the best snack spot in the kitchen. This young man likes to be busy and has a lot of energy so would do best in a home that is active and can engage his body as well as his mind. Finn is ready to join a family who shares his sense of curiosity - if you've been looking for some inspiration, come meet Finn at Saving Grace!
*Weekend Host Feedback: "Finn is all about having a good time! He was so fun to host. He rides well in the car and does well on his leash. He loves to play and make new friends, both human and canine. He slept through the night and did well in his crate. He’s also up for some snuggling on the couch and taking a nice nap. We went to a restaurant and sat outside, where he got a lot of attention from admirers. It’s impossible not to smile in his presence!"
*Recent Host Feedback: "Finn has been a fantastic canine companion for me this weekend. His endless energy and affection have been so uplifting for me. Finn is great in the car-very quiet and likes to go on adventures. We have been on many long walks together where he loves to greet every person and dog that he meets. His curly tail wags with excitement when he sees anyone in the distance. He is such a happy dog and has the cutest underbite that shows when he smiles. He does pull a bit when walking on a leash, but it is mostly because of his curiosity and excitement. Finn is potty trained and slept in his crate the whole night. Finn LOVES squeaky toys! Just watch him so that he doesn't swallow the fluff/cloth. He also loves to cuddle! "

More about this rescue
Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
