My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna – A Gentle Soul

Luna is an 8-year-old Belgian Malinois with the grace and wisdom of a senior, and just enough playful spark to keep things fun. This sweet girl is incredibly well-mannered and calm, but don’t let her age fool you — she still enjoys playing in the yard with her foster siblings and going on peaceful walks. She’s fantastic on a leash and a joy to have by your side.

Luna is crate trained but prefers to nap the day away on her foster mom’s couch, where she waits patiently and quietly when left alone. She has never been destructive, rides beautifully in the car, and knows her basic obedience. Plus, she’s fully potty trained — the total package!

Luna is looking for a loving home that will take her on daily walks, share in a few adventures, and then relax on the couch with her afterward. She has so much love to give and deserves a family who will cherish her golden years with kindness and care.

If you’re ready to add a loyal, gentle, and truly special companion to your life, Luna is waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

We hope to ease the problem of population overflow occurring in many of our shelters today. WGSR educates the individual on the importance of sterilizing the pet and providing superior care.

WGSR is composed of a network of foster families and volunteers. We are always in need of more foster care providers with the time and commitment necessary to care for these animals in transition. We are also in need of volunteers who can shuttle dogs from shelters and other sites to our foster homes.
