Howdy friends, I'm Hermes and I am always on the go! I am a mischievous fella and love to play all day long. I especially love to wrestle with my sister, Purrsephone. My foster mom jokes that we are like Sugar and Spice. After a long day of play I will cuddle and be a sweet boy, but don't be surprised when I jump up from my power nap to play some more! I love to carry toys around in my mouth and chase anything that moves (even my foster mom's toes are fair game!). I would do best if I was adopted with my sister Purrsephone as we're a perfect pair. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
