Other important info about me: I came to the shelter when I was abandoned, along with my 8 puppies, in a crate in direct sunlight. There was not enough room for us all in the crate and we were in poor health; one of my pups was even suffering from heat stroke. Thankfully, a nice officer picked us up and got us into air conditioning ASAP! After some medical care, we were ready for adoption. My pups have all been adopted now, but I’m still waiting for my forever home. I’m sweet and well mannered, and just generally enjoy being around people! If you’re looking for a dog to hang out with that’s not super high energy, I’m your girl. I do well with people of all ages and other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time.

Meet the Pet
We require all adopters to spend time with the pet they are interested in to make sure he/she is a good match!

Sign Adoption Contract
All adopters must sign an adoption contract, which may require rabies vaccine and/or spay/neuter for your new pet, if not already completed.

Pay Fee
Adoption fees vary from $10-$50, depending on the pet. We accept cash (exact change required), check, or card.
5.
Take the Pet Home
And that's it! You are now the proud owner of a new furry family member and will take your pet home right away.

-We do not require an application to adopt! However, adopters are required to meet with pets at the shelter to ensure they are a good fit. Our staff will always strive to make the best possible matches between pets and adopters!
-Seniors for Seniors: Adopters age 65+ can adopt any pet age 7+ for free!
-All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis. We do not hold pets for adoption or pickup at a later time.
-We do not transport or ship pets. All adoptions must take place in person at the shelter.
