My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Skade — sweet as sugar, fierce as a string warrior.

I will follow you everywhere. Bathroom? I’m in. Kitchen? Already there. Mysterious closet you haven’t opened in a year? Let’s explore. I’m basically your tiny, purring shadow with strong opinions on mealtime and laser pointer strategies.

I love toys — especially strings and that magical red dot that haunts us all. I chase it like it owes me rent. When I’m done zooming, I’ll curl up right next to you like a warm, furry neck pillow with trust issues toward dry kibble.

Speaking of which: I only eat wet food. Don’t test me. I’m cute, but I’m not above flipping a bowl in protest. Adopt me, and you’ll never be lonely, unwatched, or string-less again.

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
