Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack has overcome a challenging experience and is now ready to thrive in a new forever home. After recovering from minor injuries sustained during an altercation with a younger housemate, Jack is back to his vibrant self. This charming 10-year-old Jack Russell mix boasts a unique appearance, with short, stubby legs and a long torso, and has a delightful habit of offering handshakes with his stubby legs. Fully vetted and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Jack is also house-trained, crate-trained, and well-behaved during travel and bath time. He has mastered basic commands like sit, shake, and stay. While Jack would flourish in almost any home, unfortunately, he cannot cohabitate with cats. We are confident that there is a perfect family out there eager to welcome this lovable companion into their lives. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
