Hello there. My name is Reece, and I am a sweet gal just over 3 years old. I was at our big shelter a long while, and then APA came and got me. And I am now at their PAWS prison-training program learning lots of new skills. I will be ready for a home when I graduate in a couple of months. I started by basic obedience training on 8/28/2025.

More about this shelter

We are a progressive animal welfare group in Dona Ana County. We run an adoption center, the local pet food bank, a prison dog training program, and a thrift store. We rescue most of our animals from the municipal shelter and then ready them for adoption.
