-Friendly and social with dogs
-Adjusts his play style to meet other dogs where they are
-Has lived with a cat and did well
-Enjoys zoomies and playful energy
-Traveled well on a long car ride
Woodrow came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control and has made his way back to the farm with even more to share. From the start, he has been a source of pure joy. He was a proud participant in Chicago’s youth program, spreading smiles everywhere he went, and it is easy to understand why. His energy is infectious, his heart is wide open, and his zoomies are truly something to behold.
Since returning, we have learned even more about Woodrow. He has lived with a cat and did well, and he continues to show how socially thoughtful he is with other dogs. He meets dogs at their level, adjusting his play style and approach in a way that makes him a wonderful companion. Whether he is greeting a new friend or racing around the yard, Woodrow brings enthusiasm with a lot of heart behind it.
He is also an excellent travel buddy and handled the long trip from Chicago to New York with ease. Woodrow is the kind of dog who reminds you to laugh more, play often, and enjoy the moment you are in.

More about this rescue
Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.
OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.
We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
