Hi, I’m Rowan I’m a sweet and sensitive girl who just needs a little time to feel safe and show you my heart. Once I get to know you—especially if you’re a kind, gentle woman—I become the best cuddle buddy you could ask for. I love being close, snuggling up, and feeling secure with my person.
I’ll admit, I’m still learning to be brave. Men and little kids make me nervous, so I’d be happiest in a calm home with a single woman or a pair of women without children. I’m fully housetrained, walk great on a leash, and I know a few tricks like sit, lay down, and heel!
I love exploring the yard, playing, and sometimes taking the stuffing out of my toys (it’s too fun to resist!). I might be shy at first, but with patience and love, I’ll warm up and show you what a loyal, affectionate girl I truly am.
Adoption fee: $450
Rowan is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee.
Please fill out an adoption application at https://pawmettolifeline.org/adoption/adoptionapplication/ or contact adoption@pawmettolifeline.org if you would like to meet this animal.

More about this shelter
Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
