Ripley is a 1.5-2 year old long hair Chihuahua/papillon mix. She is only 8 lbs!
Ripley is a very sweet girl, but she takes some patience and time to warm up to and trust new people.
She was found as a pregnant stray, and has been a great and protective mama. Now its time for Ripley to find her happily ever after and see her blossom on her own.
Ripley is nervous of quick movements, so needs someone who can move slowly with her at first. For this reason, she needs a home without children.
She does well with cats. We don't know yet how she does with other dogs, but the few shes met shes been ok with.
She is house trained, and also knows how to use pee pads.

There is an application process, and a tax deductible donation fee, which includes all up-to-date vaccinations and the dog's spay or neuter. We may opt to do a homecheck, but will discuss during the adoption finalization.
We also require a one week "trial period" with the dog to make sure that you and the dog get along well. After the one week period, we will either move forward with the adoption if the adopter so chooses, or the potential adopter can return the dog to Pacific Pups Rescue without penalty.
