I’m about 5 years old, sweet as sugar, and yes… I’m a tripod! 🐘 Let’s just get that out of the way. I may be missing a leg, but I don’t need a “pitty” party—I just need a forever home. 🏡 I can run, zoom, and play with the best of them. In fact, I’m lightning fast 💨 (I just don’t have a front brake… so I do a cute little tuck-and-roll stop. You’ll laugh every time, I promise 😉).
I’m also a pitbull—not a Rottweiler, I know! 🙃 But Halloween’s coming and I can be whatever I want 🎃👻. Honestly, all I want to be is your best friend.

So why am I looking for a new home if I’m this amazing? Well… my family has loved me since I was just 6 months old. This is very hard on them, but over time I stopped getting along with my dog sister. We tried “family counseling” (training), but we just couldn’t work it out. My family finally realized it isn’t fair to keep us separate all the time, and they made the heartbreaking decision to find me the perfect new home. 💔

👉 A home where I can be your one-and-only pup—or maybe live with a calm, submissive doggy brother.
👉 A yard where I can zoom and show off my amazing speed.
👉 Someone who will laugh at my silly antics, sing along with me, and love me for exactly who I am.

Approve Application
The adoption application is assigned to screening team and carefully screened. If application meets acceptable criteria it is then approved.

Meet the Pet
Meet and greets are scheduled after an adoption application is approved. All family members and dogs in home must attend the meet and greet.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
If meet and greet goes well the pet can then be taken home for an adoption trial.

Take the Pet Home

Please allow between 7-10 days once your adoption application has been submitted to be screened. You will then receive a decision via email with further steps and who to contact if approved for adoption.

R.E.A.L Rottweiler Rescue was founded in 2003 by a couple with a passion and love for the Rottweiler breed. We are an all volunteer based 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. Our primary focus has been on Rottweilers, but we also rescue medium and large sized dogs of all breeds. We take in homeless rottweilers and work with them in our homes to assess personality, temperament, training and needs. Then place them up for adoption. Our goal is to find not just any home for each dog, but the perfect match for both the dog and its new family. To date, R.E.A.L. has had over 2000 successful adoptions!
