My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roxy! 🐾

This sweet, loving little girl is ready to meet her forever family! Small to medium in size, Roxy is a beautiful shepherd mix with a gentle heart and playful spirit. She adores toys, treats, and snuggles—making her the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and adventure partner.

Roxy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative—happy, healthy, and all set for her forever home.

She’s wonderful with dogs, kids, and adults, and she’s leash-trained, obedient, and eager to please. Whether you’re looking for a walking partner, a toy-loving playmate, or a loyal snuggle buddy, Roxy will fill your days with love and joy.

All she needs now is someone to give her the life she truly deserves. Could that someone be you?

More about this rescue

Welcome to Murray County Humane Society!

Murray County Humane Society is a 100% volunteer-run, GA-licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue based in rural North Georgia. Our mission is to provide second chances to animals in need by assisting with owner surrenders and rescuing shelter pets that might otherwise face euthanasia.

Every animal in our care receives essential veterinary care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services before being matched with a loving, qualified family. Through compassion, dedication, and community support, we work to give each animal the opportunity to live a safe and happy life.
