My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dijon! 💛🐾

This beautiful girl has been through more than any pup ever should, yet her gentle heart still shines. All Dijon wants is something simple—the gift of love and safety.

Despite her rough start, she has endless affection to give and would make a loyal, devoted companion. Playful, affectionate, and eager to please, Dijon is ready to fill her forever home with joy.

She’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations—completely ready to begin her new life.

Dijon has been patiently waiting for that special someone to see her worth and give her the home she truly deserves. Could that someone be you? 💕

More about this rescue

Welcome to Murray County Humane Society!

Murray County Humane Society is a 100% volunteer-run, GA-licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue based in rural North Georgia. Our mission is to provide second chances to animals in need by assisting with owner surrenders and rescuing shelter pets that might otherwise face euthanasia.

Every animal in our care receives essential veterinary care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services before being matched with a loving, qualified family. Through compassion, dedication, and community support, we work to give each animal the opportunity to live a safe and happy life.
