My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, it’s (Lucky) Jack . I’ve been told I’m a bit of a catch, so I figured I’d try this singles ad thing. I’m a handsome 9-year-old fella looking for my forever family. I’m good with kids, other dogs and cats, so I’m kind of a catch!

I’m all about a quiet night in, snuggling on the couch and supervising your every move to make sure you’re safe from rabid squirrels. My resume includes “Master Cuddler,” “Expert Napper,” and “Professional Treat Inspector,” so I’m bringing a lot to the table. My foster mom says I’m part cat because I love to perch on the back of the couch to keep an eye on everything.

I’m housebroken & independent enough that I don’t mind keeping the couch warm when you’re away. I promise to be the best boy you’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves with his whole heart, send my rescue people a message. Let’s make it official. 💙🐾

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
