Meet Diesel!
This 1-year-old, 44-pound terrier mix is pure joy wrapped in fur. Diesel is a happy-go-lucky, submissive, and sweet boy who literally can’t stop smiling. He’s the kind of dog whose tail never quits and whose grin could brighten anyone’s day.

Diesel loves being outside, chasing balls (though he’s still working on the “bring it back” part), and soaking up every ounce of affection he can get. He’s house trained, knows basic commands like “sit,” and will trot right into his playpen when asked—because yes, he’s both smart and eager to please.

He does great with other dogs after a proper introduction and might be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he’s all in for friendship and fun. With people, he’s a total cuddle bug who lives for love and attention.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a goofy grin and a heart of gold, Diesel’s your guy!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
