My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grease is the ultimate glow-up story — a smart, social girl who just graduated from the Friends for Folks prison dog training program, where she trained alongside several other dogs and learned how to be the very best version of herself.

She walks with confidence, knows her cues, and absolutely loves showing off her new skills. Grease is the kind of dog who makes everyone smile — bright-eyed, goofy in all the right ways, and always excited to see what the day brings.

She’s also wonderfully dog-friendly thanks to her time training in a group environment, and she’d love a home that appreciates her mix of enthusiasm and manners.

Best of all, Grease is Pets for Patriots eligible, making her a perfect match for a veteran or service member looking for a loyal, well-trained companion.

If you’re searching for a dog who’s equal parts heart, brains, and charm…
Grease is ready to slide right into your life. 🧡🐾

More about this shelter

Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society a 501c3 was formed to improve the problems of disease, overpopulation & abandonment of stray animals in Garvin County.
Our organization is made up of over 300 members who care about animals. It is an eclectic group varying in race, age, economic and professional levels and religious affiliations. We are, however, single-minded when confronting our community problems of animal cruelty and neglect, overpopulation and the humane treatment in which our strays and homeless dogs and cats are housed. Our goal is to relieve their suffering, do everything in our power to find them homes and provide a decent animal shelter for Garvin County.
