Amos used to be a stray and was taken home to guard the house by his master. Unfortunately, Amos was terribly mistreated: not only he was poorly fed, but also often beaten by his master. When Amos’s plight was witnessed by the volunteer, she mad a desperate plea for Amos'owner to let her take Amos from him. Reluctantly, the man gave in.
Under the care of his foster family, Amos gained both weight and good spirit; most importantly, he never lost his trust toward humans. Amos also learned good manner and sanitation habit. He enjoyed playing with other dogs too.Amos is one of the best behaved dogs, according to the foster family. He is loving and passionate, yet stable, calm, friendly and obedient. He can easily befriend strangers including kids; also gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is potty trained and crate trained. He will be your good friend and a great companion pet. Amos is patiently waiting for a second chance to join a family of his own!
Amos loves dog treats !! Every day we feed him baby kibble with wet food, egg, or cook meat and some fruits. He gets along well with dog, and kids, Amos is a good match for a family with a comfortable yard space and love for outside activities.
The meaning of adoption is not gaining a free and 100% perfect dog. Instead, the meaning is a poor and helpless stray animal gets a new life and sweet home because of you. Please open your heart and your sweet home. If you are interested in Amos, or want to help him. Please contact us.
* We opened Amos for adoption in U.S. and Canada, You are welcome to fill out our online application *
We are looking for a family who understands the patience and responsibility required to raise a pet. It is important to us.

Furry smiles International Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in USA, and BC registry non-profit association in Canada.
We do not have a physical shelter location. We rely on our network with many fosters in the different area, who provide our dogs with love and care during transition from rescue, medical, foster to adoption.
Our International rescue dogs will be flying to Canada, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York....or other city once the adoption is confirmed.
Furry Smile International Rescue ( FSIR) have been working hard to improve the welfare of dogs/cats since 2005 irrespective of their breed, medical condition or age.
All of our amazing volunteers donate their time because of their passion for helping dogs. We feel passionately that our role is not simply deal with the consequence of irresponsible ownership, but to also tackle the root causes and reduce the number of dogs needing to access the animal welfare system.
Our rescue ; we take care of them; we try to train them to be socialized; we find them a good home and we make sure dog/cat is living happily hereafter. We also believe in the therapeutic role that dogs can play in our local community. Our vision is a future where all pets are provided with a responsible and loving home for life.
