My name is Ritchie!

Ritchie is a yellow lab mix with a big heart! This sweet, playful boy is equal parts lovebug and goofball — always ready to make you smile. He’s an athletic, curious pup who enjoys his daily walks and never says no to a good play session.

Ritchie loves his toys — he’ll proudly parade around with one in his mouth like it’s his prize possession! Just be warned: stuffed toys don’t stand a chance against his enthusiasm, so durable toys are definitely his best match.

Ritchie tends to gravitate toward women and can be a bit timid around men at first. Once he learns he can trust you, though, his love knows no bounds. With patience and kindness, he’ll show you just how affectionate and loyal he can be.

Ritchie gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him a wonderful companion for a home with furry friends.

Smart and eager to learn, Ritchie is the kind of loyal companion who will easily become your best friend. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
