Critter’s Compatibility: Dogs - Let’s do a meet and greet! Cats - Not a good fit Kids - Older teens (around 16 years of age) and up
Critter might only be 2 years old, but he’s already showing what a smart and motivated dog he is! He recently graduated from a two-week Stay & Study program at PetSuites, where he learned all his basic cues like sit, down, place, leave it, and more. He also practiced polite leash walking with his Easy Walk harness, which will go home with him when he’s adopted!
This 50-pound guy is playful, curious, and full of personality. Once he’s had a chance to settle in, he loves to show off his goofy side and get the zoomies. Critter enjoys spending time with people who understand his needs and can give him clear guidance, and he thrives with a confident, patient adopter who can help him keep building on the progress he’s made.
Critter would do best in a home with kids 16 and up so everyone can follow his cues and help him practice his manners. If you have a dog at home, bring them along for a meet and greet. Our team will help with introductions to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
He’s a smart, affectionate dog who’s ready for his next chapter. After all his hard work, we think he’s more than earned it!

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.
This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
