Camellia just wants to be close and give and receive love. She can be a lapcat when it suits her and she will drool and purr with joy.
She will charm you with her many trills and soft meows.
She will also sleep with you. Most often leaning into you and will like to have a paw on you or be touching in some way.
Her foster mom works from home, and she likes the company throughout the day. She likes to sit on her lap or next to her ( in a big chair) learning you have to stay off the desk!
Lots of cat tree bird watching and napping too.
Camellia occasionally will give you a love bite, but she is always gentle and understands to be gentle.
If you get up from her she may also let you know she is not done receiving pets, but always gently with her paw.
Her background isn’t clear to us, but she required some downtime and now a very happy inside cat. She will need some patience to feel comfortable in her new home as well.
She was found at a landfill and seemed like she would just do better being inside and with humans – and she is doing fantastic.
She will need to be an only kitty, and Queen of her domain. Her personality is so big, there is only room for one feline in the house!
Best fit is in a home with older humans, and no toddlers or children under 13.
Excellent litter box manners, purrs easily, soft meow and trills make her so sweet and a pleasure to be around. For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

More about this rescue
Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
