Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ranch: The Only Kind of Ranch You’ll Want on Your Lap
Some people like ranch on their carrots. Some even put it on their pizza. But the best kind of Ranch? The kind that climbs right into your lap and looks up at you with big, hopeful eyes.
This is Ranch — a big-hearted, snuggly, playful pup with the soul of a lap dog and the energy of a puppy who’s just discovered how awesome scritches are. He’s still learning that the world is a safe, happy place, but despite being a little unsure at times, Ranch is incredibly brave. All he really wants is love, reassurance, and to be close to his person.
Ranch is currently recovering from a leg injury, so he’s looking for a foster or forever home where he can rest, heal, and continue learning that humans = snuggles, treats, and unconditional love.
He may not come with a dressing packet, but Ranch is the perfect recipe for comfort, joy, and a little bit of puppy chaos (the cute kind). If you’ve got a cozy spot and a heart big enough to help this sweet boy heal, Ranch is ready to be your most loyal sidekick. ~~~~~
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on “Foster Questionnaire.”
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We’ll see you soon at either location!
