My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chocolate Chunk is a fun kitten. She is very chatty and loves to tell everyone her opinion about things. Snuggling is a favorite pastime. When not snuggling she is usually playing with a toy spring - she LOVES playing with them. Chocolate has the makings of a multimedia artiste. Her works of art are often found throughout the foster home. She excels in tissue ripping, throw rug arranging, and interior re-decorating.

She has the most stunning golden eyes, almost orange in some lights. With her very sleek tuxedo coat she us quite a beauty.

She will be spayed, deflead, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, and have her first kitten shots before adoption.

An application, landlord approval if renting, safety home check, and an adoption fee are required. Preadoption is available once requirements have been met.

Discount to seniors, military/veterans, with proof of disability, and adopting multiples.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
