My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boomer is a sweet, goofy guy who's all about fun and cuddles. He's still a young pup, full of energy, and absolutely loves his toys, seriously, he'll carry them around like trophies. He would love a dog buddy around his size to play with. He does well with all dogs and respects boundaries. Boomer's working on his manners (he knows "leave it"), and while he's super smart, he's still young and learning. If you've got experience with bully breeds, you'll know exactly how to bring out the best in him. He's going to be a big boy when he's full grown, and he's already a pro-level snuggler. Boomer is ready to roll, microchipped fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on Heartgard, and neutered. He is waiting for his forever family. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Boomer is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.August 30, 2025, 3:35 pm

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
