Location: Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I`d love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me!
My friends at Wayside say: -I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. -I can be nervous of new people, but tend to warm up quickly. -I love to get all of the pets and affection once comfortable! -Playing with other dogs is one of my favorite things to do! -I get fun zoomies when I’m excited! -I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information.
My home needs are: -I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. - Wayside recommends that I have a fenced-in yard since I am still learning to walk on leash. -For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags. -I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies.
My favorite activities are: -Playing with other dogs -Soaking up love from my people -Lounging around while chewing on a bone

Hey there, I’m Leo!
I’m a 1-year-old pup with a big heart, even bigger zoomies, and a whole lot of love to give. I’m currently part of LIFT University, which is a training program that’s helping me build confidence, learn new things, and become the best version of myself.
I’m a total lovebug once I feel safe. My people say I’m one of the sweetest, most affectionate guys around, and I’m always happy to soak up belly rubs, head scratches, or just hang out close by. I also have a goofy, fun side… when the mood hits, don’t be surprised if I break into some super adorable zoomies!
Some of my favorite things in the world? Playing with other dogs, cuddling up with my favorite humans, and kicking back with a good chew bone. I find a lot of comfort in having another dog around, so I must meet other dogs before going home, just to make sure we can be buddies. However, I’m alright being your one and only pup too! More love for me!
I do need a fenced yard to safel
