My Friends at Wayside say: - My previous owner said that I am house-trained. - I will do well in a variety of homes! - I have history of living with another dog successfully- I prefer calm dogs that will co-exist with me. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information.
My home needs are: -Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life! -Cats are much too interesting to me, so my home will need to be cat free.
Hi there, I’m Jack!
I’m an 8-year-old gentleman with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. I may be past my puppy days, but I still have plenty of affection (and kisses!) to give. I’m a big fan of cuddling, spending time near my favorite people, and enjoying all the simple comforts of life. If you’re looking for a loyal lap dog who’s happiest by your side, I might just be the perfect match.
I’m housetrained, know commands like ‘sit’ and ‘shake’, and I’m always ready to show off my good manners for a tasty treat. I’ve lived with other dogs before, and while I prefer to just peacefully coexist rather than play, I do just fine sharing space with them. I’ll need a home without cats, but otherwise, I’m a pretty easygoing guy who would fit in well with a variety of families.
These days, I enjoy taking things at a slower pace; a nice, leisurely walk and some snuggle time on the couch sound like the perfect day to me. I’m a gentle, affectionate boy looking for a calm, loving home where I can be your steady companion and best friend. If you’ve got a cozy spot on the couch and a few treats to share, I think we’ll get along just fine! Meet me soon at Wayside Waifs!
Love, Jack
