My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beans and his bonded brother Peets are super friendly and  affectionate little kittens. The brothers were found at the rock garden in Emmetsburg and needed no taming at all. Peets spends more time on the ground than his heights-inclined brother and will run to the door for any chance to interact with a human. Toys, shoes, and hems are his interests when no one is petting him. Peets enjoys life as a tripping hazard in his community room, but would really like a home with more space.  He is  neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
