Here's what the humans have to say about me:
About Door Knob!
Don’t let his silly name fool you—Door Knob is all heart! This handsome white cat with brown tabby patches is as sweet and easygoing as they come. He’s a friendly, go-with-the-flow guy who gets along great with other cats and enjoys the company of kids. While he hasn’t met dogs in rescue, he’d likely do fine with a calm, respectful pup after a proper introduction.
Door Knob loves catnip and will happily chase toys when it’s playtime, but he’s just as content lounging nearby and keeping you company with his steady purr. He loves the high spots and seeks out the sun. He’s okay being picked up but prefers affection on his own terms—an independent spirit with a gentle soul.
Door Knob would thrive with another friendly cat, but he’d also be happy soaking up all the love as your one and only.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
