Buddy is about four years old and currently weighs 72 pounds (he’s still a bit on the skinny side). We believe he may be a St. Bernard or Great Pyrenees mix — whatever the blend, he’s a very handsome boy!
Buddy’s story began in Little Rock, where he was found roaming the streets. It took his foster months of patience and kindness to earn his trust, but Buddy has blossomed into a calm, well-mannered companion. He is potty trained, good with other dogs, and has such a gentle presence.
Buddy will do best with an understanding owner who is willing to continue helping him build confidence and trust. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and on ProHeart 6 for heartworm prevention. Buddy is heartworm positive but is currently undergoing treatment, and he’s handling it like a champ.

We have an application and a contract that must be completed by potential adopters. We must obtain information to speak to your veterinarian for current animal records. If a new pet owner, we must have permission to speak to your employer. If neither are available, we are unable to adopt a pet to you.
