My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🎵 Meet Treble! 🎵

Treble is a 7-month-old kitten with a tender heart and a big personality. He’s been with us since he was just 8 weeks old, and while his start in life wasn’t easy, he’s grown into a curious, affectionate little soul who truly loves his people.

Treble does have a history of a seizure and is a chronic snuffler, meaning he often has a runny nose and may always sound a bit sniffly. This is something his future family should be comfortable managing and monitoring, but it doesn’t stop him from enjoying life, attention, and affection.

He has lived with other cats, but as he’s grown, he’s shown signs of feeling stressed around them and will occasionally growl. Because of this, Treble would do best as the only cat in the home, where he can relax, feel secure, and soak up all the love without competition.

Treble is the kind of kitten who forms strong bonds and fills a home with sweetness, curiosity, and quiet companionship. He’s looking for a compassionate adopter who understands that some cats come with quirks and extra needs, but give back tenfold in love.

Treble has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $75. As with all New Leash cats, he must be strictly indoor-only and never declawed.

If your heart has room for a special little snuffly boy who will adore you with his whole being, Treble is ready to meet you. 💛🐾

More about this rescue

New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.

Our goals include the following:

To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.

To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals.

To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.

To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.

To find good homes for the animals in our care.

Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.
