Rip is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with the sweetest personality. This gentle boy recently came back into our care after EACC received him from a neglect situation. His fur is slowly growing back in, but his spirit has stayed bright and full of love.

Rip is known for his happy toes—he prances around like he should be a Nike spokesperson with those joyful feet! He’s truly a sweet, resilient pup who’s ready to find a family that will cherish him the way he deserves.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
