My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is a sweet, spirited puppy who blossoms with energy once she feels comfortable. She loves her daily walks, enjoys playing with bigger dogs, and could spend all day lounging outside taking in the world around her.

Like many young pups, Poppy is still working through a bit of puppy biting, but she responds very well to correction and is already close to outgrowing the phase. She’s a mostly quiet girl and will only whine when she needs something. Poppy is fully housebroken and crate trained—she’s used to spending time in her crate and settles in without a fuss.

Poppy adores attention from everyone she meets and has never shown any signs of aggression. She hasn’t been around children yet, so her comfort level with little ones is still unknown.

This sweet, playful girl is ready to find her forever home with a loving family who can give her the time, care, and affection she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun, and gentle companion, Poppy might be the perfect match!

Poppy is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. If you are interested in learning more or meeting Poppy, please complete an adoption survey using the link below (copy and paste link):
