, Bailey, we’re getting to know a very special 5-year-old girl—and she is already so deeply loved.
Bailey is sweet, gentle, and full of heart. She has a playful side and absolutely adores her plush toys—the more stuffing, the better. On leash, she’s calm and confident; off leash, she’s wonderfully independent and always comes when you call her name.
She loves a good game of fetch, happily dropping the ball at your feet so you can throw it again—bringing it right back every single time. With the first snowfall of the year, Bailey revealed yet another joy: running freely through the snow, chasing and trying to catch snowballs, pure delight in motion.
Bailey knows how to sit, give one paw (and then the other), lay down, and patiently wait for a well-earned treat. She’s smart, attentive, and eager to please.
At home, she’s a world-class snuggler. Couch cuddles? Bed snuggles? She’s all in. If you’re eating, be prepared for hopeful eyes and gentle begging—treats are always a good idea. She loves to sit or stretch across our legs, nestling in close and reminding us to slow down and be present.
Bailey takes her time meeting new people, but with a little patience, she warms up beautifully. Today she met my two-year-old nephew, and they did great together—a gentle, heart-melting moment we won’t forget.
As her foster parents, we’re so grateful to offer Bailey a safe, loving place to land. She is easy to love, easy to care for, and already leaving paw prints on our hearts 🐾
