Since arriving in his foster home, he has been an absolute joy, proving himself to be a sophisticated gentleman who knows exactly how to settle into a household routine.
Sam is a social soul who truly loves people. His favorite pastime? Getting "all the pets!" He is especially fond of booty scratches and will happily lean in for love anywhere you’re willing to give it. When he’s not seeking out affection, you can find him in his favorite role: the ultimate couch potato. He is a world-class snuggler who is happiest when he’s tucked in close to his favorite humans.
When it comes to four-legged friends, Sam is a dream. He is very dog-friendly and excels at "coexisting" peacefully. He currently lives with another dog and, with a proper introduction, he is perfectly content to share his space, showing a calm and respectful nature. He’s also a total pro when it comes to house manners; he is fully house-trained and crate trained, sleeping beautifully through the night without a peep.
Don't let his "old man" status fool you, though—Sam still has a playful side! He absolutely loves his tennis balls and will joyfully chase after them with a curious spirit. While he’s still working on the "return" part of fetch, his enthusiasm is infectious. He is a strong, healthy boy who does like to lead the way on walks, so he’s looking for a partner who can help him refine his leash skills. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.
