My name is Chopo-$75 Adoption Fee! Diamond Dog!!

Hi! I'm Chopo! I'm an approximately 5 year old, male, Pit/Lab mix who weighs approximately 88lbs. I was surrendered by my owner on 09/05/2025 because life changed and they no longer had time to spend with me. I am excited to find my second chance! According to my previous owner, I am house trained and get along with other dogs and kids. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I am friendly and social and ready to take on any adventure! I have been a shelter resident for 90 days as of 12/04/25 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and basic boosters. I did test heartworm positive, but thanks to Rockwall PAWS I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopters.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
