Meet Thor – Loyal, Low-Key, and Treat-Motivated
Don’t let the name fool you—Thor is a gentle soul with a soft heart. Recently abandoned in a rural area and never claimed (no collar, no chip), Thor was rescued by good samaritans who kept him safe until they could surrender him to us. Now fully vetted, neutered, and ready for adoption, he’s looking for a home that will never let him down.
Thor is a well-behaved, easygoing guy who is:
- Potty trained
- Crate trained
- Walks well on leash
- Motivated by food and praise
He doesn’t always respond to commands right away—but wave a treat and he’s suddenly very interested in listening!
Thor is great with other dogs, big and small, and very submissive even when challenged by pushier personalities. He’s not a fan of drama and avoids conflict. Unfortunately, he is not good with cats, so he’ll need a feline-free home.

Take the Pet Home
You can meet the pet, fill out adoption forms, make payment and take the pet home at this point if you choose.

We do not do same day adoptions. That would not allow us to complete our process.
We also conduct public records check to ensure there is no history of violent offenses. We do not adopt pets to anyone with crimes against animals.
