If you’re looking for a low-rider goofball with a tough-guy bark and a marshmallow heart, say hello to Canelo — a short, stocky Staffy/American Bully mix who’s equal parts cuddle monster, body-slammer, and emotional support clown.

He’s the kind of dog who chases a ball but never fetches, throws his weight into full-body chest bumps when he’s excited, and performs trust falls when it’s time to cuddle. Oh, and did we mention his bark sounds like a squeaky toy when he’s happy?

But don’t let his funny antics fool you — Canelo is also:
• Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped
• Crate trained & house trained
• Knows basic commands (still polishing his manners)
• Highly treat-motivated

Personality Snapshot:
• Big bark when he hears noises — but immediately hides. Excellent “alarm system,” poor security follow-through.
• Loves to cuddle and seeks close contact (sometimes a little too enthusiastically)
• A little droopy in the best, bully way — full of jowls and floppy charm
• Playful and goofy, but still figuring out how to manage his excitement
• Body slams/chest bumps are his “love language” — his adopter will need to set boundaries while appreciating his… enthusiasm
