When August was found, she was heartbreakingly emaciated, too weak to stand, her body covered in sores, and barely hanging on. Left on the euthanasia list at a kill shelter due to her condition, we knew she deserved more. Since coming into our care and moving into a loving foster home, August has shown us the incredible spirit she’s been hiding all along.
This sweet pittie girl is as affectionate as they come. She adores people, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and is learning how to enjoy life as a dog, something she never got the chance to do before.
