My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact my foster at: mccollumlara@gmail.com

Holly is an all-around gentle, sweet, calm, and content dog. She likes to go on walks but doesn’t require a lot of exercise. She likes to be with her people wherever they go. Here are specific details.
•Housebroken: Yes (She had one accident when we were at home because we didn’t understand how she was telling us she needed to go out.)
•Other Dogs: She barks some from a distance but there is no pulling on the leash or cowering. (She was very laid back when a small, nervous dog spent the night with us. They shared the bed and shared attention without issue.)
•Adults: She has met some in our home and took to them quickly.
•Children: No exposure
•Infants: No exposure
•Prey Drive: Not sure (She is interested in rabbits but will not pull after initial correction. She watches birds but hasn’t tried to get to them.)
•Car Rides: She seems indifferent and likes to lie down in the back.
•Stairs: She bunny hops up and down. She uses an ottoman to get on/off the bed.
•Grooming: Shower is 2-person job, then she zooms happily. She did pretty well getting her nails dremeled.
•Misc: Non-reactive to bicycles, strollers, fireworks (was inside), vacuum
•Other notes: She has the cutest little tongue that sticks out when she’s resting. She will give kisses if you put your face next to hers.
•Favorite Spot: On top of the couch cushions.
•Food: Bananas, peanut butter, doggie treats, and doggie ice cream.
•Health Issues: Itchy skin (but scratching is managed with an OTC antihistamine.)
•Training: she walks pretty well on the leash and wants to sniff everything
•Commands: She knows “Sit” and “Shake.”
