Meet Argyle! Argyle came to us in August of 2025 from a local shelter. While he was initially a bit territorial in his pen, his time in foster care has helped him blossom into a much more relaxed and affectionate bunny. These days, Argyle loves free roaming the house, especially racing up and down the stairs. He’s very clean, easy to handle, and enjoys gentle pets, body massages, and even kisses once he feels comfortable. Argyle will thrive in a patient, rabbit-experienced home that understands his need for space. With time and trust, he becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who loves being part of the family.

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. The virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit.
