Dogs are housed in volunteer foster homes to assess their behavior and level of training, and to develop their basic social skills. They often have exposure to other pets and people that they would not get in a shelter setting. The stresses of group living in shelters sometimes masks a dog's true personality. We want our dogs to shine and strive to make the best match possible.
