This super sweet girl is as lovable as her name. Cantaloupe’s favorite place in the world is right next to her person—she’s a true velcro pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side, soaking up all the love and attention.

Cantaloupe has been through a lot but never lets it dull her spirit. She had TECA surgery (a procedure to remove infected ear canals) and is doing amazing and healing. this girl will not let anything slow her down

In return, she’ll shower you with endless loyalty, cuddles, and sweetness. Cantaloupe is lookingfor a home where she can be cherished for the amazing companion she is—a home that will give her the love and care she’s always deserved. Cantaloupe loves car rides, walks beautifully on the leash and really is a chill, happy to hang out at home watch movies kind of girl. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
