I’ve only been fostering Fluttershy for less than 2 months. So there is still a lot to learn about her, and a lot for her to learn. But my short term assessment of her is, she is one good dog. I really do like her, you can’t possibly not like Fluttershy. She is one happy dog who loves life and everyone she meets. I have walked her with numerous dogs, they are friends as soon as she sees them. Same with people. I think she is a Boxer mix. So, a high energy dog. And really a quick study who learns thing easily. I don’t do a lot of training with new dogs when I get them, I just let them be dogs for a few months. But, I do simple things like not jumping on me, which is something we are working on. She gets it, and can learn to not do it if people stop letting her do it. She’s too friendly. She does play ball. At least she goes and gets it and runs around with it. The bringing it back and dropping it is another story. She has been entirely non-destructive. Potty trained, of course. And good on a leash. Learning to not react to deer and squirrels. My ideal home for her would be fenced yard and another dog that likes to play, a lot. Fenced yard is a must in my opinion, another dog is a pretty close second. So if you are looking for a super fun, loving dog. She’s your girl. And, oh, she is also a really good looking dog!
