My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nimbus, the two-year-old fluffy Frenchie with the softest coat and the sweetest heart! ☁️💙

Nimbus is a gentle, loving boy who gets along beautifully with other dogs and animals. He adores being part of the action, following you around with his cute little trot and looking up at you with those big, melting eyes.

That said, Nimbus is still learning how to manage his excitement — when he gets a little too happy, he may give playful nips, and he definitely has a quirky thing for feet! Because of this, he’ll do best in a home without young children.

If you’re looking for a fluffy, charming, and slightly silly Frenchie who will make you smile every day, Nimbus is your guy. He just needs someone who understands his personality and can give him the safe, loving home he deserves. 💕

Ready to bring a little cloud of joy into your life? Nimbus can’t wait to meet you! ☁️🐾

More about this rescue

The mission of the Raise the Bar-N Foundation is to rescue, care for, and provide compassion to abused and neglected animals, educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and provide opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. We strive to give the voiceless a voice.

My husband and I have been rescuing for years. We also do a great deal with the autism/special needs community. We are hoping to save more animals and help build bonds between animals and children with disabilities. My husband is a firefighter and ex-professional hockey player. I am an expert working with children with disabilities, especially autism. I am passionate about giving the voiceless a "voice".
