My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keiko is a sweet, confident, and playful senior German Shepherd with a heart the size of her stuffed gator - which, by the way, she never goes to bed without! Whether she’s snuggling up for the night or enjoying a relaxing afternoon, her favorite plush buddy is always close by. This lovely lady may be in her golden years, but don’t let that fool you! Keiko still has plenty of pep in her step and loves a good game, a fun toy, or a cozy round of pets from her favorite people. She`s loyal to the core, and once you`re in her circle, you`ve got a best friend for life.

Keiko also has a strong independent streak, so we recommend that any kids in the home are age 10 and up so they can respect her space and energy. While she adores her humans, she’s not interested in sharing her home with other dogs. Keiko wants to be the one and only - and honestly, once you meet her, you’ll see she’s all you need. If you`re looking for a loving, smart, and spirited companion who still knows how to have fun and cuddle up at the end of the day, Keiko might just be your perfect match! A consult with our Behavior team will be provided to discuss her individual needs.
