Meet Capri, our adorable 2 ½-year-old pocket bully weighing just 47 lbs! With her little crooked tail and snorty bulldog nose, she’s full of unique charm. She is absolutely gorgeous and has the biggest tongue.
Capri is a sensitive soul. She startles easily with loud noises and often prefers the safety of being inside. Thankfully, she’s decompressing beautifully in a quiet adult foster home with one of our board members. She loves her peeps hard!
This sweet girl is:
-Crate trained
-Housebroken
-Very quiet (sleeps through the night!)
Capri passed her temperament testing with both cats and dogs, though right now she feels most comfortable without canine companions. She can also be a bit nervous around men, which makes sense given her history. We’ll work closely with any adopter, and she may even have potential to live with a calm dog—we’ll continue testing that.
What she needs:
-A patient, loving home where she can continue to build confidence
-An adult-only household (no young kids)
-Someone who believes in her and is excited to watch her blossom
Capri braved her very first event this weekend and surprised us with how well she did—she even enjoyed some gentle pets!
If you’re ready to help this shy beauty come out of her shell, apply today at pittiesandpals.com

More about this rescue
Pitties and Pals Rescue, Inc. is (a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit). Our mission is to rescue dogs and educate the public. Although our main focus is the bully breed, we are committed to all dogs in need. We believe RESCUE involves a multitude of approaches that includes liberating dogs from at risk situations, whether in a shelter or with an owner in need of assistance. While adoption is always the ultimate goal, we believe transitioning into foster care allows for socialization and training that are key components to a successful placement.
Pitties and Pals volunteers are also committed to changing the negative public perception of the Bully Breed. As such, we welcome opportunities to heighten awareness and enhance education in a public forum through our personal stories and positive experiences.
